Mercator.ai is a Canadian startup applying AI and big data to construction-market intelligence, a domain with the kind of technical challenges anyone in AI and big data will recognize.
I joined in 2021 as director of software engineering and employee #1. I wrote the founding codebase, hired the engineering team from zero, led the product from idea to production, and contributed technically to securing funding rounds, the largest at $5.1M, before stepping away to focus on my own company, Ayadi.
