Al-Faraheedy — Computational Arabic Prosody (Open Source)

An engine that scans the meter and rhyme of Arabic verse, named after al-Khalil ibn Ahmad al-Farahidi.

Al-Faraheedy — Computational Arabic Prosody (Open Source)

A system that teaches the machine al-ʿarūḍ, the classical science of Arabic poetic meter: it scans any text, identifies its meter, checks its rhyme, and dissects each line rhythmically the way a scholar would.

It is named after al-Khalil ibn Ahmad al-Farahidi, the scholar who first codified the meters of Arabic poetry. Published as open source on GitHub.
