We work on building a "people's rights architecture", including personality rights, identity rights, property rights, debt rights, intellectual property rights, stock rights, etc. One of the most prominent features of this civil law is the assurance of protecting the rights of the people. And the third is his inheritance. The renewed civil law should inherit the outstanding achievements of Chinese culture and the outstanding achievements gathered by the ancient civil law, and embody the outstanding achievements in civil law research collected by our Chinese scholars during 40 years of reform and opening up. Fourth, is to keep up with the times. Our age is the information age, therefore, contents related to information in civil law have been added, such as drafting electronic contracts and violating rights on the Internet, etc., on the one hand and on the other hand, our era is the age of environmental civilization, so the contents related to environmental protection have been added. Fifth, is openness. The Civil Code contains 1,260 articles, but it is still unable to meet the people's colorful livelihood needs, so it must maintain a space for reform and development in the future.
